Twisted Sunday !

Today I woke up feeling great - had just enough sleep last night and I got ALL my laundry done yesterday so I actually felt like scrappin this morning...........

and heres what I ended up with

Now, let me tell you this is NOT at all what was envisioned in my head. I DO NOT like the end results. I was gonna throw it away, but thought NO - I have never thrown a Layout away yet and Im not gonna start now. (sighing) I loved the colors together - when I started - not so sure now. I'm only posting this because I know we all have struggles and have layouts or cards that DO NOT end up at all as we had envisioned them, so I know I am not alone and am here to remind you that you too are not alone.

Carefree Wednesday !!!!!!!!!

Oh to be young and carefree again!!!! I new exactly what to do with this pic when I saw my nephew just relaxing in the grass watching the guys play corn hole at my cousins graduation party.

I finally used my Max's backyard paper from Cloud 9 and a Jenni Bowlin Bingo Card along with a Prima butterfly (thank you Rox-ann) and a maya road chipboard tree sprayed with maya mist.

This is one of my favorite layouts Ive done recently - sorry for the glare on the picture, I was in a hurry.

I noticed I have 10 followers finally - so once I reach 50 I will do a RAK so pass it along to everyone you know to come check me out!!!!

Happy Fathers Day and Happy Birthday to Me!!!!!

I want to wish my Dad a Happy Fathers Day!!!!! I will be meeting him and my mom shortly for a fun filled day!!!!!!

I got to scrap!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning fellow bloggers!!!!!!

With that said - I got to scrap yesterday (doing a happy dance) I did 2 layouts and made 2 racing flags. This Layout is Dylan enjoying ice cream and I got to use my pom-pom trim - thanks Keri. I used Pink paislee sweet treat line and the background paper is bo bunny, with some sassafrass flowers - I just love those!!!

He is such a cutie (sorry had an aunt gushing moment)
This is a racing flag I made - Ive probably made about 12 of these so far!! We live near a sprint car track (Attica Raceway Park) so dirt racing is big, as is Nascar around here.

Very Busy Life

I realized I havent posted in a while - Ive been busy working and life comes first. I have nothing scrappy to share, but realized I have a TON to be thankful for so I would like to share a few of those things with you because I realized just because I havent blogged, scrapped or got caught up on scrappy boards its NOT the end of the world.

Im thankful for:

1. My family and friends - they are always there for me
2. My eyesight so I CAN read and browse boards on computer
3. Farmers - even though they seem to slow down traffic and cause dust in my home - they help provide food to feed me
4. Having a job - I may complain I have to work more hours, but some people would love to have a job right now
5. Kevin - he takes care of me and works to provide a roof over our heads and food on the table!

These are just a couple of the things I had been thinking about on the way home from work today so thought I'd share.

Wacky Wednesday!!!!

I've got the day off today (yes, I know it was just a holiday) but, I have to work ALL weekend, so I guess it balances out. Here are a couple scrappy layouts I did last week (I think) before the whole Facebook and Yoville addiction. LOL

We took my nephews to the sprint car show at the mall in March and a Late Model car driver was nice enough to let the boys set in the car.

This is Dylan - I used Bo Bunny Grease Monkey paper for both of the layouts and Maya Road gear chipboard and little shoebox letters (love them!!)

This is close up of the Maya road gears I used. I chalked them, then sprayed them with iridescent Maya Mist spray.

This is the little one Ayden - He didnt like being in the car. Poor kid we made him stay as long as we could to get a photo op. LOL

I've been a BAD BLOGGER...........

because someone (Rachel) got me addicted to Facebook and someone else (Cristal) got me addicted to Yoville. So, you probably understand what has happened to me then.

Between Facebook, reading and a holiday weekend well I've been busy!!! LOL
